Knowledge of Greek language:
Level A2 – citizenship after 5 years,
Level B1 – citizenship after 4 years.
These conditions also apply to the applicant’s family members.
Good character: no criminal record, not subject to international search warrants, and no entry violations via the unrecognized territories of the TRNC.
Financial stability: ownership or rental of housing and a minimum monthly income of €2,500 to support oneself and one’s family.
Professional qualification: proof of high academic or professional competence.
Fast-track procedure
Applications will now be processed under a simplified scheme within no more than 4 months.
More detailed instructions and implementation guidelines are expected to be published in the Official Gazette in the coming weeks.
