The desire to live near the sea quickly meets a simple reality: beachfront property almost always comes with a significantly higher price tag. But this does not mean that an affordable option has to be far from the coast. It is much more practical to decide in advance what really matters: a sea view, walking distance to the beach, property size, a separate bedroom, or the infrastructure of the area. Once these priorities are clear, the search becomes much easier.

Where to Find More Room in Your Budget

The most obvious way to save money is not to focus exclusively on the first line. A property located 800 meters or 2–3 kilometers from the sea may be in the same area but cost considerably less. If you have a car, this difference in distance may have almost no impact on everyday life. At the same time, the price per square meter, seasonal noise levels, and maintenance costs can differ significantly.
